If you would like to be active within the Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group, there are several different avenues you can pursue, give us a call and we can help you find a role that suits you.

Youth:

We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, creative individual with strong communication skills to assist in our afterschool programs. Volunteers must be turning 14 before the end of the calendar year or older and be able to commit to two after school volunteer shifts per week and occasional weekend meetings. 

If you are interested please submit a resume and cover letter including your afterschool availability to Katie Toogood, Youth Program Coordinator, Katie@gnag.ca .

Deadline to submit: Friday, September 17, 2021. Volunteers are encouraged to submit as early as possible, as hiring will begin Thursday, September 9, 2021. 

Pro-tip: In all cases we expect applicants to enquire about positions themselves and submit their docs themselves via email (in other words, do not let your parents do it).

Adult: If you are an adult and would like to join GNAG as a volunteer member at large, committee member, special event chair, or board member, download the following document and bring it in to the GNAG office at the Glebe Community Centre.

Adult Volunteer

We are looking for individuals with experience in childcare, strong interpersonal skills and a background in programming to work in Breakfast club, Quest-4-Fun, PA Days, Break Programs and Child/Youth courses.

Staff are required to work a minimum of two shifts per week in our afterschool program.

We are always looking for Tutors!  See job description. 

This can be done virtually through Zoom.

Particular areas of interest are the Sciences, Maths and French. We love geography and English Literature too but we just don’t get a call for those tutors. 😉

We are always looking for new programs and enthusiastic instructors.
