If you would like to be active within the Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group, there are several different avenues you can pursue.

Are you 16 years+, creative, enthusiastic and do you love working with kids? Do children find you approachable, energetic, authentic and supportive? Then we want to meet you. We are looking for individuals with experience in childcare, strong interpersonal skills and a background in programming to work in Breakfast Club, Quest-4-Fun, PA Days, Break Programs and Child/Youth courses.

Staff are required to work a minimum of two shifts per week in our after-school program (3 – 6 pm). We also need help in our before school program where shifts run 7:30 – start of local schools (9ish).

Volunteer Positions in our After-school Childcare and recreational programs.

Are you creative, enthusiastic and do you love working with kids? Do children find you approachable, energetic, authentic and supportive? Then we want to meet you. We are looking for individuals to volunteer in Quest-4-Fun, PA Days, Break Programs and Child/Youth courses.

Applicants are required to volunteer for a minimum of two shifts per week whether it be in childcare or programming.

ADULT Volunteering

This can be done in-person or virtually through Zoom.

Particular areas of interest are the Sciences, Maths and French. We love geography and English Literature too but we just don’t get a call for those tutors. 😉

Integration support workers use their unique expertise to promote the well-being, dignity, development and independence of children and youth with exceptionalities in summer camp programs. They are essential in removing barriers these children may face and providing a positive, enjoyable camp experience that would otherwise not be possible.

GNAG Summer Camp Counsellors

GNAG Summer Camp 2023

Junior Counsellor

This position requires a consecutive 3-week commitment and is a paid position.

The Jr. Camp Counsellor position is intended for applicants who have over 80 hours volunteer experience in a recreational setting and are looking for the next step in progressing towards future paid employment in recreation

Applicants for this position must be entering grade 10 or 11. Preference will be given to graduates of GNAG’s Glebe Leadership program and previous/current GNAG volunteers.

These positions have all been filled for Sumer 2023. 

We are always looking for new programs and enthusiastic instructors.
