Take your pottery throwing on the wheel to the next level with instructor James Thorne! For this 12 week intermediate class, it is recommended that students feel comfortable, consistently, throwing a small cylinder (4×4 inches) The first 6 weeks we will explore new shapes on the wheel like bowls, lidded vessels and plates with a focus on learning to make things functional. The final 6 weeks will be more project based, focusing on larger, more refined, decorative and creative works of art! Most classes will include a short demo, the rest of the time James will be working one on one to help develop your skills on the wheel..
